Train is bringing its new album home to San Francisco with a celebration in one of the city’s most iconic neighborhoods.
On Thursday, August 27, the band will take over Haight Street for Train’s Love on Haight: A Mad Dog in the Fog Album Release Block Party, happening directly in front of the legendary Mad Dog in the Fog at 1568 Haight St.
The party kicks off at 3:30 p.m., with a live performance from Train scheduled for 5 p.m. The event will transform the stretch of Haight Street near Haight-Ashbury into an outdoor celebration for fans and music lovers.
And the location couldn’t be more fitting. The band’s new album takes its name from the beloved San Francisco pub, making this more than just an album release, it’s a homecoming.
As Train puts it: “You really think we’d name our album Mad Dog in the Fog and not throw a party at the bar we named it after?”
New album. Old stomping grounds. One iconic San Francisco street.
If you’re looking for a uniquely San Francisco way to celebrate Train’s latest chapter, this is one block party you won’t want to miss.
