Prog-rock legends RUSH are officially returning to the Bay Area. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees and co-founders Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have added 17 new cities to their Fifty Something 2026 headline tour, one of which will bring the band to San Jose’s SAP Center on Thursday, October 15, 2026.
The tour marks RUSH’s first live trek in over a decade, celebrating not only their vast catalog of hits but also the enduring legacy of their late drummer and lyricist, Neil Peart. Fans can expect two full sets each night, with rotating selections from across 35 songs spanning the band’s storied career.
Due to overwhelming demand—every previously announced U.S. and Canadian date has sold out—the band expanded the run to include major stops in Philadelphia, Montreal, Seattle, Vancouver, and now the Bay Area.
Joining Lee and Lifeson behind the kit will be German drummer and producer Anika Nilles, who toured extensively with Jeff Beck and brings a powerful new energy to RUSH’s intricate rhythms.
Presales begin October 27 via livemu.sc/rush, with general sales starting October 31 at 12 p.m. local time. Fans can also explore new VIP experiences and travel packages through wearesuper.co/rushvip.
For longtime fans in the Bay, this show is more than a concert, it’s a resurrection of one of rock’s most iconic duos returning to the stage to honor their legacy and reignite the spirit of RUSH for a new generation.
