Goldenvoice has officially announced the return of Portola, the Bay Area’s premier dance music festival, happening September 20–21, 2025, at San Francisco’s PIER 80. After a sold-out 2024, this year’s edition promises to be even bigger, with headlining sets from GRAMMY-winning legends LCD Soundsystem and Australian powerhouse Dom Dolla.
The 2025 lineup also includes a rare live performance by Moby, marking his first San Francisco appearance in over a decade, alongside The Chemical Brothers (DJ Set), Underworld, The Prodigy, Peggy Gou, and the return of The Rapture. Pop icon Christina Aguilera joins the mix, showcasing her versatility on the electronic stage.
Making its San Francisco debut is DESPACIO—a unique, high-fidelity sound experience designed by James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, the Dewaele brothers of Soulwax/2ManyDJs, and sound engineer John Klett. Murphy and the Dewaeles will spin vinyl all weekend inside the immersive Despacio tent.
Following a legacy of unforgettable performances from acts like Skrillex, Flume, and RÜFÜS DU SOL, Portola continues to cement its place as a must-attend event in the global music festival circuit.
Passes go on sale starting May 14 at portolamusicfestival.com, with 2-Day GA starting at $399.95 and VIP options available—including a new VIP XL package.
