When the history of modern R&B stadium tours gets written, The R&B Tour will read like a seismic event, and San Francisco is right in the eye of it.
The 2026 co-headlining run unites two generational architects of the genre, Chris Brown and Usher, for a 33-date North American stadium sweep produced by Live Nation. While the tour officially kicks off June 26 in Denver and closes December 11 in Tampa, it’s the Bay Area stop at Levi’s Center in Santa Clara on August 28 that already feels primed to be one of its emotional high points.
The announcement landed with the force of a cultural moment, teased first through a joint Instagram commercial that instantly lit up fan timelines. Now, anticipation is shifting into overdrive as fans across Northern California prepare for what will likely be one of the biggest live music events of the year.
Both artists arrive in peak form. Usher’s Past, Present, Future tour shattered expectations with over 1.1 million tickets sold, while Chris Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX World Tour capped a record-breaking global run, grossing nearly $300 million and cementing his status as one of the most dominant touring forces in pop and R&B.
Beyond the spectacle, the tour also carries a philanthropic edge, with $1 from every ticket benefiting the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund through Global Citizen initiatives.
Presales begin April 21, with general on-sale April 27.
