Aftershock 2026 Announces Massive Lineup Led by My Chemical Romance, TOOL and Limp Bizkit

California’s biggest hard rock gathering is leveling up again. Aftershock Festival returns to Sacramento’s Discovery Park October 1–4, 2026, bringing with it the most expansive lineup in the event’s 14-year history.

This year’s edition will feature more than 140 bands across five stages, with headliners My Chemical Romance, TOOL, Limp Bizkit, and Pierce The Veil leading a stacked bill that stretches across metal, punk, hip-hop and emo.

Thursday kicks things off with My Chemical Romance celebrating the 20th anniversary of their era-defining album The Black Parade, alongside sets from The Offspring and Sublime. Friday leans heavy and eclectic with Limp Bizkit, $UICIDEBOY$, and hip-hop legends Wu-Tang Clan. Saturday belongs to Pierce The Veil—making their Aftershock headlining debut—joined by A Day To Remember and the genre-bending BABYMETAL. TOOL closes out the festival Sunday night with Queens of the Stone Age and composer-turned-rock-visionary Danny Elfman also topping the bill.

Beyond the headliners, Aftershock’s lineup reads like a crash course in alternative music history: AFI, Stone Temple Pilots, Public Enemy, Cypress Hill, Killswitch Engage, Coheed and Cambria, The Used, The Pretty Reckless and Sleeping With Sirens are just a few of the acts filling out the weekend.

Several notable reunions and anniversary sets add extra intrigue, including Circa Survive’s West Coast reunion, From First To Last returning to the stage, and Municipal Waste celebrating 25 years. Hometown favorites like The Story So Far, Dance Gavin Dance and DRAIN will also make special appearances.

With camping newly added for 2026, along with fan-favorite hangouts like the Tremors Dive Bar and the Aftershock x Jungle Bird Tiki Bar, the festival is leaning even further into the full-weekend experience.

If past years are any indication, Discovery Park will once again become ground zero for West Coast rock culture.
